Marked up as you learn. CocoStudy is an AI-powered, offline-first study companion that turns your lectures, slide decks, PDFs, and notes into interactive study guides, spaced repetition flashcards, customizable quizzes, and a personal AI tutor.

What it does

  • Multi-format intake: PDFs, Word documents (.docx), PowerPoint slide decks (.pptx), audio recordings, video lectures, or pasted text.
  • Study guides: structured notes with outlines, collapsible sections, KaTeX math, and code blocks.
  • Flashcards: an SM-2 spaced repetition scheduler with four grades (Again, Hard, Good, Easy).
  • Quizzes: multiple choice, true/false, and essay questions with explanations.
  • AI tutor: answers strictly from your course material.

Your data

Study sets, notes, flashcards, and progress are stored in your browser via IndexedDB. Your Gemini API key stays on your device and is only sent to Google's API. You can export your full library as a JSON backup from Settings at any time.
